The epilepsy medication course is tailored to support and train staff responsible for the care of individuals with epilepsy and, in particular, the handling and administration of Buccal Midazolam. 

Our Epilepsy and Emergency Medication Administration (Buccal Midazolam) courses are delivered face-to-face over four hours. After the course you will will have an understanding of what epilepsy is and the causes. You will learn the different types of seizures and what may trigger a seizure. You will be confident of what to do in an emergency and how to administer emergency medication. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and work as a team to build upon your confidence so that you know you're prepared in any situation.
